It's been 13 years since I was a newcomer to this area, but I remember it well and would have the opportunity to loved to join an organization like this.
The Barrie Newcomers Club is a social organization that aims to give new Barrie residents the opportunity to meet and make new friends through a variety of activities and interest groups. Membership is $20 per year and is available to anyone who has moved to the Barrie area within the last 2 years.
General meetings are held most months, and other planned activities occur throughout the year. The next meeting takes place on Wednesday, September 9 at 7:15 p.m. in the The Angus Ross Room of The Barrie Public Library on Worsley Street. For a full schedule of meetings and events, click here to visit their website. - Caleigh
